Statements and Financial Reporting

Many banks, financial institutions and utilities are required to make regular statements of financial accounts to clients. The nature of regular email makes this an inappropriate medium for these applications, leaving service providers with little choice other than to send paper statements by postal mail, or to operate cumbersome and expensive web based messaging services.

Immutify Secure Messaging was designed to support these requirements. It provides a service equivilent to recorded delivery postal mail for a fraction of the cost of standard first class post.

Rather then receiving an ever increasing pile of paper statements, or emails instructing them to log on to your website to collect statements, customers can receive detailed statements directly into their ISM mailbox. If the statements are delivered as XML documents then not only does the customer see a single statement presented in a similar way to a paper document, but the integral database in the ISM client can accumulate trend data over time allowing your customers to see an accurate picture of costs and revenues over time.

For large scale producers of statements, ISM represents an immediate cost saving opportunity. But in addition to reduced costs, you will see increased functionality. Delivery records are automatically retained for business class messages, and at any time during the data retention period (normally 12 months), the sender of a business class message can retrieve a record of when the message was delivered into the customers server side mailbox, and if and when it was delivered to the client application on the user's computer.

Customers who are existing ISM subscribers can use their existing account to receive your statements, those who are not can have one created, in either case the on-boarding process can be seamlessly integrated with your own web site.

Sensitive Financial and Commercial Documents

There are many applications where information providers are required to ensure that sensitive documents such as certain prospectuses and financial offers are only distributed to suitably qualified individuals.

Immutify Secure Messaging can provide the means to ensure that such documents are transported in a secure, reliable and timely manner and that appropriate records are maintained about which documents were distributed to which recipients.

In cases where responses to these documents are required then ISM provides the means for these responses to be transmitted in a secure and reliable way, and where appropriate that they are digitally signed and cannot be plausibly repudiated.
